ENGLISH BULLDOGS
INTERACTION WITH PEOPLE

English Bulldogs are generally very good pets, and enjoy interacting with people, including children!  From the time you bring your puppy home until old age, the master of these docile dogs should dedicate time every day to playing with, training, and cuddling his/her adoring English Bulldog.

One of the main reasons for English Bulldog misbehavior is the lack of interaction with people.  Much like a human child, this breed will do whatever it takes to get the attention of its master(s).

As English Bulldogs age, they choose to exercise less.  It becomes the responsibility of its owner to play with or take the dog for a walk.  In addition to developing a strong bond between the pet and master, this will improve the overall health of the English Bulldog.

English Bulldogs are one of the most intelligent of all dog breeds, and enjoy stimulation by problem solving games.  When participating in these games, or other training exercises, remember the attention span of English Bulldogs is very short, so limit these activities to about fifteen minutes.

In many cases the difference in a maladjusted English Bulldog and a wonderful friend and pet is the interaction with people, so set aside an hour a day just for your buddy...  You'll be glad you did!
